Film featured at ‘Some Body Was Here’ exhibition by Amalie Røge Hove, Sofie Hermansen, Søren Minds at Nikolaj Kunsthal, during CPHFW SS26
Some Body Was Here brings together textile designers Amalie Røge Hove, Sofie Hermansen, and Søren Minds, united by a shared interest in craft and textile manipulation. The exhibition sits at the intersection of fashion and art, built around large-scale fabric installations that reimagine traditional knitwear techniques.
Exhibited alongside the installations, the film extends the exhibition rather than documenting it. In the absence of the body, what remains is the memory of its shape and movement, echoed through mirrored surfaces and layers of transparency. Framed by the rhythm of the knitting machines, the film moves in the same language of light and shadow as the pieces around it.
